While we are not professional textile conservationists, we love to work on vintage quilts. Our personal background is steeped in our own family heritage, and our philosophy on vintage quilts is simple.
In every artistic endeavor, there is at least one point in which the artist imagines the finished product...what it will look like...who they might present it to...and what that recipient's reaction might be. For whatever reason, in the case of vintage quilts, the project was not completed. We consider it an honor to be a part of completing the process that the artist began, especially if it involves a family heirloom. Vintage quilts take a great deal of care and we love the process of gently bringing these works of art back to life. We will be happy to examine and discuss any project you might have, and we guarantee complete honesty, if for any reason we feel that working on the quilt is beyond the scope of what we do.
